Funeral service filming and live-streaming
Chapter House Funerals is implementing some immediate measures in attempts to offer our families and their loved ones a safe place to say their goodbyes.
We are offering all families services to be filmed included in our service fee, which will be unchanged. The service will be available by a secure link within 2 hours after the service, allowing families and friends to say their goodbyes. This link can be forwarded to share with extended family and friends unable to attend the service in person.
Chapter House’s in-house production team are well-qualified videographers who are equipped to record and edit our services during this time of restrictions and public aversion to venues and events.
We also have live-streaming available; however, due to high demand, this can not be guaranteed at this stage until booking. Our production team is currently working on our capabilities and anticipate we can guarantee this for every service in the next two weeks. Live-streaming is not included in our service fee and will be an additional $400.00
Chapter House is equipped to safely hold a memorial service on our premises in Kew for up to 20 people, given the social distancing guidelines of 1.5metres. For families still wanting larger services, we have secured an outdoor venue in Kew that can host a full funeral service that meets the current government guidelines of 500 guests.
The cemetery trusts, mainly Springvale Botanical Cemetery, Bunurong Memorial Park, and Fawkner Memorial Park, are also able to hold services for under 90 people in their chapels; however, this is fast-changing. Government requirements will guide us.
Rest assured, Chapter House is ready and capable of assisting families during this ever-changing climate, and we continue to give your loved one and family our best service with continued respect and care. We are available 24/7 to attend to your family.
We encourage all of our families to stay safe and strong in spirit during this tough time.
