William Upfield – Chapter House Funerals, Hearse Driver.

William was born in Brisbane, Queensland and moved to Melbourne with his family in 1954. After leaving Croydon High School to join the Royal Australian Navy he also served in the Australian Federal Police Force.

However it was a long-standing career in the motor industry, as general sales manager of brands such as Mercedes Benz, Porsche, and Bentley that’s saw him make his mark. 
Prime Minister Tony Abbott personally chose the semi-retired William as his driver for when he was in Victoria.

William is now the lead hearse driver for Chapter House and is also a partner in the business.
