Announcement: Exemptions for funerals services.

Announcement:

The Victorian Government announced this morning new implementations in order to reduce the risk of coronavirus, non-essential activities and services to be closed and/or have restrictions this included funerals; however, we have now received clarification by Dan Andrews. Funerals do not need to be cancelled in Victoria and are exempt; however, they must still comply with the density restrictions

Funeral services can be held in places of worship, chapels, and outside venues. Chapter House has also secured an outdoor venue with full-service capabilities, including a large screen for video tributes and sound system. Our outdoor site can host a sit-down service for a maximum of 65 guests.

We are also offering families a professional recording of the service to be available online with two hours of the service ending as part of our service fee. Live-streaming is also possible; however, it can only be guaranteed when booking.

We encourage all of our families to stay safe and strong in spirit during this tough time.

Regards,
Troy Upfield
